This edition of Giò has the oak interior, burnished cast bronze top, and inset cast-bronze handles of the original, but is, additionally, clad in Bianco Opaco parchment. An homage to the Italian designer’s predecessor Gio Ponti, the cabinet possesses elements of this earlier artist’s aesthetic, adapted into a design all Salvagni’s own.
