Achille Salvagni
Medium: Bronze, walnut, adjustable glass shelves
Dimensions: 29 in high x 26 in wide x 17 in deep
Achille Salvagni's beautiful bedside tables have sensually concave, double doors of sleek walnut separated by the glimmer of warm, bright, hand hammered bronze. Each rests on three legs, the central one of which is, itself, a visual blade of exquisitely polished bronze.
A Rōnin was a samurai without a lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless upon the death of his master, or after the loss of his master's favor or privilege.
