Ayala Serfaty makes her ethereal, sculptural light fixtures by applying a diaphanous membrane over unique structural webs of thin, glass rods. As inspiration for these sculptures, informally known as “clouds,” the Israeli artist looks to natural forms—crystals, Japanese gardens, and coral on the seabed floor.
