In the manner of Abel Landry

Dessert Table

France, circa 1900

Dimensions: 33.5 in high x 39.5 in wide x 19 in deep

Medium: Walnut

This tiered dessert table shares many features with designs typical of Abel Landry at the beginning of the twentieth century. The spindles which comprise the lower part of the frame are curved, almost resembling rays of the sun. Wooden buttresses snakes up toward the upper lateral tiers, creating a sense of delicacy while lending support to the structure.
