In the Manner of Eric Bagge

Tan Bergère Armchair

France, circa 1927

ACH 89

Description

Wood, upholstery

This Art Deco bergère is as unusual as it is comfortable, distinct for the polished wooden lines with which it is composed—particularly that forming its the sloped back, which seems to rise in a single curve from a pair of vertically articulated feet extending from the chair's base.
