Medium:  Lacquered wood and gilt iron

Dimensions:  31 in high x 69.5 in wide x 17.25 in deep

A piece of striking symmetry from the 1940s, this chest is lacquered in a beautiful red-mahogany and accented with gilt-iron piping, keys, and central medallions, which are located centrally on the doors and depict a pair of arrows encircled by a ribbon.
