Pas de Deux II, Dining Table

United States, 1990

Materials: African Mozambique, glass

Dimensions: 29 in high x 24 in diameter base x 54 in diameter glass top

The Pas des Deux II table is an elegant and sophisticated example of Michael Coffey's laminating and carving process. This table consists of two intertwining African Mozambique towers which support a glass top. The visual interplay of the two towers creates a unique viewing experience from every angle as the lines of the base widen and disappear.
