An early example of Coffey's geolithic carving style, this cabinet was exhibited at Directional Furniture in New York. This deep, surface carving style is reminiscent of the action of water on rock over billions of years, and has been expanded upon and refined by Coffey since the 1990’s. Outfitted internally as a buffet with seven drawers, the name Seafarer refers to this anchor-like motif.
