This monumental sculptural cabinet is carved from solid, 4-inch thick Honduras mahogany and weighs 900 lbs. It is divided in two halves: one half is a door, which swings out on hidden hinges and concealed casters, while the other half contains revolving shelves and drawers.
The design reflects Michael Coffey's status as one of America's foremost furniture makers, as well as his legacy as a lasting figure in American design.
