In many of her recent sculptures Niamh Barry has traded in her signature fluid ellipses for a composition of sharp angles arranged in dynamic, crisscrossing lines that suggest a whole different category of motion. With this evocative work from 2015, one of her most striking pieces yet, she suggests flight marvelously with two broad wings.
