In many of her most powerful sculptures Niamh Barry abandons her signature fluid ellipses for compositions of sharp angles arranged in dynamic, crisscrossing lines--forms that suggest a whole different category of motion. With this evocative hanging sculpture from 2014, mirror polished strips create a mulitplicty of angles that reflect the piece's opal glass filtered LED light in every direction.
