Zelouf & Bell’s magical Koi Pond in the Snow trays are inspired by the Japanese tradition of wrapping gifts in vividly designed pieces of cloth, furoshiki. We use a selection of pressure-dyed timbers in the marquetry
motif, including sapphire ripple sycamore, black bolivar, ivory anegre and red, orange, yellow, gray and ochre birch, tay and bird’s eye maple. Mother-of-pearl handles; hand-rubbed matte lacquer finish. Each tray is presented in a custom kimono sleeve.
