With innovation and integrity, Van der Straeten continues the rich heritage of fine French design and craftsmanship. His furniture and accessories are created using traditional materials of hand-wrought bronze, painstakingly applied lacquer, and meticulously polished wood. His bold, elegant and original forms, remixing classical materials into dazzling blends of modernity and tradition, are executed by his team of master craftsmen at the Paris workshop. He has designed of jewelry, perfume bottles and makeup cases for houses such as Yves Saint-Laurent, Christian Lacroix, Dior and Guerlain.
