Maurizio Galante haute couture celebrates a body of work that spans over 25 years of the Paris-based Italian couturier and designer’s career. Galante is one of the world’s most respected haute couture fashion designers, having won numerous awards, and in 2008 was appointed Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture in recognition of his contribution to the French fashion industry.

After studying architecture and then fashion at the Academy of Costume and Fashion in Rome, Maurizio Galante moved to Paris. Since 2008, he presented his collections as an official member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. His fashion house is part of this closed circle of prestigious Parisian houses 14 who are entitled to this recognized label.

The work of Maurizio Galante can be defined as a perfect balance between sophistication and discretion, rigor and poetry, pace and modernism, tradition and innovation. 

His creations, in many areas it addresses, are "objects of desire", the "conversation pieces" destined to elicit emotions. His inspiration and his approach embrace and transfigure traditional craftsmanship in exquisite designs, stylish and contemporary.

Maurizio Galante creations are included in the permanent collections of major international Fashion and Art museums and he has participated in various exhibitions, including the Victoria & Albert museum in London, the Museum of Decorative Arts in the Louvre in Paris, Galliera museum in Paris, Kyoto Fashion Museum, MOMA museum of modern art in New York, Grand Palais in Paris, the Museum of Art and Industry in Saint Etienne, la Triennale museum in Milan, and MUDAM Modern Art Museum in Luxembourg, and Pompidou Centre in Paris.

He created costume designs for the theatre and the opera and collaborated with well known directors such as Luca Ronconi and Giorgio Ferrara for Piccolo Teatro in Milan, Rome opera and Spoleto theatre festival   

In 2003 the designer and couturier Maurizio Galante, in partnership with Tal Lancman, a trend forecast analyst and designer, founded the design and consultancy agency INTERWARE. The duo's broad spectrum of work experiences encompasses Artistic Direction, from trend research to projects conception, design of new products and services, and following up on all stages of production. Their approach to projects is adapted to each client’s universe, catering to their specific needs.    

With a focus on the transversal approach, their vision emphasises the meeting point between the different disciplines of design, architecture, fashion, and art.

Clients and collaborations include American Express, Baccarat, Baleri, Boffi, Chopard, Driade, Felissimo Japan, Itochu Japan, Lasvit, NY Limited, L'Oreal Paris, Pantone, Reebok, Shiseido, Tai Ping carpets, Valcucine kitchens, and Veronese .  

Interior design projects include hotels, restaurants, and private mansions :

Foro Appio Hotel in Latina, Italy; development and interior design, marketing and branding concept.

The School of the Chambre Syndicale de Couture Parisienne, Paris. Interior design.

Carnavalet museum shop and library, Paris. Interior design, brand identity and products for the museum’s store.

OFF Paris Seine Hotel , the fist floating hôtel on the Seine river in Paris. A four stars hotel docked at Quai d'Austerlitz.
