This bench is part of a line of contemporary furniture designed by blending digital technology with fine traditional craftsmanship. Executed in mirror polished silicon bronze, the piece curves beautifuly, practically collapsing on itself in the formation of seat from arms and legs. As with other examples of her ingenious sculptural works, by inverting traditional structures, Egan plays with form and space alike, creating both where least expected.
