Over the last two decades at the helm of his family's Aix-en-Provence business, Christophe de Mons has gradually modernized and refined the Provençal output on which its reputation stood. By his personal experiments with clay, glazes, and firing techniques and deep research into the distinctive ceramic styles emblematic of 50s, 60s, and 70s ceramics, he has created a unified style that is at once grounded in traditional craft and forms of the past, and yet, altogether new.
