Master metalsmith Douglas Fanning's small round side table features a series of topographical crests that rise from its otherwise smooth top. Further "islands" are cut away from the base creating irregular apertures adorn the base. Fanning, always eager to explore new territories in form and material, has in this case completed his elegantly spare bronze composition in a brooding patina, setting up a contrast between his cool, industrial aesthetic and the geological formation intimated.
