Gary DiPasquale works largely in the vase and vessel form, inspired equal measure by nature — the textures and colors he finds on tree bark, plants, rocks, and minerals — and the ceramic traditions of other cultures and epochs — those of the Mediteranean, Asia, and Africa, dating from the ancient to the Art Deco.
