The Alaia dining table is an homage to pre- 20th century Hawaiian surfboards. The top, made from dramatically grained ziricote wood indigenous to Mexico, rests on an ebonized oak base. Ziricote is a non-threatened species often used for fine musical instruments. This table can be used with a pair of matching Alaia commodes, upon which the leaves rest when in its smallest configuration, eliminating the need for leaf storage. Leaf storage case available if used alone.
