Giovanni Patrini was an Italian designer and decorator based in Milan. Active from at least the late 1960s to the 1980s, he designed objects for numerous Italian manufacturers. His collaborations include maritime-themed silverware for Atena, ceramics for the Ferlaro, glassware for Seguso and Cenedese & Albarelli, as well as furniture in the 1970s for Mario Sabot. His bamboo and brass furniture—often referred to as “Chinese-style” furniture—was among his internationally successful creations from the early 1970s.
