This extraordinary table, designed by one of the early twentieth century's greatest designers, represents the consummation of French Art Deco elegance. The table's circular top—a spectacular work of verre eglomise set like a jewel in a frame of gilt bronze--rests upon a solid cylindrical support split at its base into three gently bowed legs.
