Vert de mer marble on steel and bronze base
This low guéridon dates from 1959, and features a round top of vert de mer marble supported centrally by five bronze legs. A photograph of this model is recorded in the Archives Leleu (inventory number AR.LEL.665) at Musée des Années Trente, Boulogne-Billancourt. A similar guéridon is featured in an original drawing, dated 1959, by Jean Leleu for the reading room of the luxury ocean liner, SS France.
