Intuitive and exploratory, Nancy Lorenz's work combines the raw, informal stroke or pour with rare and highly finished luxury materials. In this study cut, crystalline agates float as islands in a high sheen sea of palladium leaf, whose ripples unmistakably bear the traces of corrugated cardboard.
