The Swedish Grace movement is the name given to the Swedish Art Deco. Its main representatives were Carl Hörvik (1881-1954), Carl Malmsten (1888-1972) and Axel Einar Hjorth (1888-1959). Each chair, painted in a period pale green, has a caned seat, turned, unfussy legs with gilt touches and a rectangular backrest with inset arched panel.
