MR Architecture + Decor

MR Architecture + Decor is a twenty-person studio led by founding partner David Mann in collaboration with Senior Associates William Clukies, Robin Corsino, Robert Fuller and Allison O’Connell, Associates Kim Frederick and Karina Kou, and Studio Director Scot Campbell. Based in New York City, the firm’s work straddles the line between architecture and interior design, its scope extending from ground-up construction and renovation to interior architecture, design, and decoration for residential, retail, and other commercial spaces.

The MR aesthetic is characterized by diversity and unified by an essential clarity; its design evolves out of an intimate dialogue: between the client and the architect, between the architect and the sites. The results reflect clients’ needs and desires, their unique characters as filtered through the MR vision, and reveal a beautifully calibrated balance between form and function. In short, the firm is driven by the belief that close collaborations with clients lead to personalized and intimate homes.

With no singular mandated style, MR is free to take on widely disparate clients and projects. The common denominator throughout is a disciplined aesthetic that focuses on revealing the poetry in the most rational approach to space, proportion, and light.
