Press Release

Maison Gerard is thrilled to announce its upcoming debut at Expo Chicago 2017. The Expo, known for showcasing some of the best global contemporary art and culture, is the perfect opportunity for Maison Gerard to showcase its ability to combine new era contemporary artists and classic masterpieces from years past.

Among these stunning pieces the gallery will be debuting a sculptural wall installation by Brooklyn ceramic artist Peter Lane. Lane is known for his larger-than-life ceramic works, and his piece adds a striking juxtaposition to the elegant works of Italian architect and designer Achille Salvagni and the ethereal creations of Israeli artist Ayala Serfaty.

In addition, Maison Gerard will be displaying works from another Brooklyn based artist Ben Erickson, who is known for experimentation with forms and finishes. The gallery will display a pair of his cocktail tables that are truly sculptural masterpieces. Erickson’s contemporary daybed made of ribbed horween leather, ebonized rosewood and blackened brass will also be on view.
